Family Vacation

For the 4th of July my rented a cabin up Ephraim canyon for the whole family to go camping. We went all the to the top of the mountain, it was pretty windy. In fact, on the 4th it snowed. But, it was beautiful and we had so much fun. We hiked, played, slept, and ate. It was a great adventure.
Here's the cabin, seen from the top of our hike.
What is camping without some S'mores. Notice Jeremy's upper lip. We were using Giant marshmallows, and well, they got all over.

Grandma provided some bubble fun for the grandkids.

Jeremy was his goofy self. He's showing me his walking stick.

Cousin Eve came on a hike with Wes, Jeremy, and myself. We walked to one of the many glaciers that were around us. From there, we yelled down at the cabin to create some echos. Wes was really good at it.

Jeremy's a real trooper. He went on three hikes that day. He konked out in the tent before dinner time.

I think I got a little sun this day. Love you hun.

Christopher was so happy to get down and roam around. Gwen caught up with him and gave him loves. Thanks Gwen. Christopher was also awed by J.L. and Cami's dogs that came with them. He loves, loves, loves them.

The last night was colder and windier, so we crammed as many bodies as we could into the cabin on cots, mattresses, etc.
What a wonderful trip, many memories that will last, I'm sure.

Hanging out at Grandma's

We've had a lot of fun this summer hanging out at my mom's house. The kids can get wet on the trampoline, there is plenty of yard to run around and explore, plus there is always a cousin or two to play with.

Jeremy playing swords.

Mckell looks like her hands are full.

Christopher loves the tramp. He bounces himself and giggles, as long as the big kids aren't jumping too hard that is.

Jeremy loves the tramp for other reasons, to get wet!!!

He's such a big boy!! He likes to do things for himself now too. No help needed, mom.

Christopher has found his love of animals, but especially Grandma's kitty. Watch out, he gives her BIG kisses.

Our Chocolate Pudding Artist

So, I decided it would be fun to give Christopher some chocolate pudding and see what he would do with it. It was hilarious. He was hesitant at first, lokking at me for permission I guess. Then, he just dove in. I don't think he ate much. It mostly became his masterpiece. Of course, I took his clothes off before we started.

I think he had fun, don't you?

Easter. . . a little later

We had Easter at my mom's house. McKell, Cami, and I hid all the eggs and candy. The kids had so much fun finding them. There are a lot of trees, ditches, weeds, flowers, etc to use as hiding places.
Jeremy's a good little runner, he covered the grounds quickly.

I got him to back track a lot though, to get what he missed speeding by.

Christopher wasn't sure what to do with all the shiny things in the grass. He picked up a couple of them.
He tried to eat them, as he does with everything.

I think he was done after one or two. This one he like the best because it had the coins in it, which sounded fun!
Overall, we had lots of fun. And came home with way too much candy. :)

So are the Halls of my life!!

Jeremy has been sporting this Mohawk hairstyle for a little while now. I'm waiting to see when it will end. He's always wanted a buzzed short cut. Until this year, when he started school, he realized what else was out there. Now, it's all about what his friends are doing and how their hair is. So, when it was time to cut hair he asked for a mohawk. I said yes, thinking he'd try it out and change him mind eventually. Well, here I am still waiting. Then the other day he says, 'Mom, why won't my hair stick straight up like so and so'? I told him he needed hair gel to get that effect. So, now he have hair gel and mohawks. Life is great.

This is how Christopher entertains hisself while Jeremy and I clean their room. My little pianist.

This is playing on the floor, all alone and undisturbed.
Jeremy comes along to play and . . . . .
Voila!!!! Well, at least it's out of love when Jeremy "helps" Christopher.

Afternoon at the Park

The sun was shining, not much wind, we had to take advantage of this day.

What's an outing without snacks? Do you wonder why he's so 'round'? Don't.

Down the slide. Big brother helper.

Uncle Andy home for Spring Break. Isn't this picture great? My favorite of the day.

Great, I'm going to have two monkey children.

We had such a fun day. Smiles all around!

I had to include this one. For you who know Jeremy, this is so typical. I don't know exactly what face he was told to pull, but here you go.

Water Lover

Christopher loves the bath tub. He would play all day in there if I let him. It's funny. He plays and splashes, not noticing the water gets colder. Then, all of a sudden, he does this very dramatic shiver, looks at me, and begs with his eyes. Whether he's begging to get out or for more water, I'm not sure.
So much fun!!!
Nakey time is the Best!!!
Aww, it's time to get out!!

Christopher's new trick!

Christopher started clapping the other day, especially when he drops a toy from his highchair. He'll look at me and smile and clap. Yes he is adorable.

This is before, while playing.

This is after he dropped it. Now he's clapping.

Arizona Trip

We went to Tucson, AZ for New Years. We left on New Year's Eve, that was different. No celebrating there. We stayed with Wes's sister and her family down there. They blessed their month old baby boy Oliver that Sunday we were down there. It was great to see everyone. Wes's dad and RaeAnn came down from Seattle too. Saturday was a day of play. We took our Christmas marshmallow shooters to the park and had a blast. Grandpa Hall took all the kids our 'shopping' for their Christmas presents. And I personally enjoyed the wonderful warm hot sun the whole time. We left a snow storm behind us and welcomed the 72 degree weather with open arms, T-shirts, and flip flops. It was sad to come home. Fun trip!!!

the pics are kind of in the wrong order

Family picture, we're just missing RaeAnn who was taking it.

Notice how sunny and bright it is, yeah.

Christopher and cousin Idris, a meaningful look.

Cousin Oliver in his blessing outfit that Jennie made

Grandpa and Christopher. What are they doing, cleanign out his toes?

Jeremy showing me the cactus garden at our pit stop.
SUN, SUN, SUN

At first Christopher wasn't so sure about all the traveling. Love this face.

He did really good though. He slept real well and didn't cry too bad, only when I took my turn driving and he couldn't see me anymore. Mama's boy.

Cute brothers cuddling on the hotel bed. I think Jeremy loved the hotels more than anything else on this trip. ha ha ha

Six Months Old

So, Christopher is six months now. He's such a big boy. He's 17 lbs 11 oz. He has two teeth on the bottom. We love him and just can't get enough of his smiles.

He went under there backwards. Goofy kid!!

"Uh, hello mom"

He can sit up, really, he just was surprised by the camera I think.
