UPDATE

There isn't really anything new going on right now in our house. Wes and I are going on a date tonight, though. We haven't been out by ourselves for a while. I'm excited. Aunt McKell is going to come play with Jeremy. He loves having her come over. She always has an art project or something like that for them to do. Such fun.
I'm thinking of saving up my money for a digital camera. I know, everyone has one, but we've held out. Blogging is so much funner, however, when you have pictures to include. I'm thinking about it.
I've been making homemade French bread since our trip to Arizona last month. It tastes great, everyone loves it. Also, with wheat and bread prices going up, I think it's better for me to know how to make more of my own foods. Best of all though, I feel better about myself when I do something that domesticized. (Is that a word?)
Well, that's our news for now.

Arizona Vacation

A month ago we went to Tucson to visit with my sister-in-law and her family. We stayed for a whole week and had so much fun. Russ and RaeAnn were able to come down for a few days too. It was interesting. We left Utah in the middle of a blizzard and it snowed (in Tucson) the day after we got there. Russ and RaeAnn left Seattle and all its rain and it rained a couple of days we were there. We didn't mean to bring it with us, we promise. But, for the most part, it was warm and sunny. We saw a variety of cactus, ate great food, played games and watched movies. We went one day to the Children's Museum in Tucson and another day was spent at Colossal Cave Mountain Park. We had a great time, and I even learned how to make bread. Now we're back in Utah, where the weather is as tempermental as a moody 4-yr-old. I know, I have one.

Sun o' Sun
Where art thou Sun?
Don't leaveth us for so long.
Linger, we entreat thee,
Linger we beg of thee.

End of the Week

This is brand new for me. Ask my friends, I'm not up with the digital age at all.
I wanted to try this out, however, and see how I like it.

This has been quite a week for me in many ways. The place was full of kids all the time; young and old, loud and quiet, clingy and well, not so clingy.
I also decided that I don't appreciate not having a choice about what company provides my electricity. Only one option, are you kidding me?
To top it all off, stress from the in-laws caused a perpetual headache and very little sleep.
I am just so happy it's Friday and I get to have dinner with MY family on Sunday. Yeah!

Despite the chaos of the week, however, I have come to one conclusion. I must learn to love the people and situations that make you appreciate better what you have in your life. I am so grateful for my caring husband and his patience with me. I am grateful for my (one) child who is very sweet when he wants to be. You hear that Katie? Jeremy is not always a hyperactive terror on the loose!!!! I'm also very glad of how I was raised. Until I got married, I didn't fully appreciate how good I had it. My family may be a little kooky at times, but without them I would not have turned out like I did. (Note that I didn't say I turned out normal)

Anyways, I don't really know what to put on these things. I just had a lot on my mind. The one person (besides my sweet Wesley) who I usually discuss all of this with and vent to moved. So, this is good therapy, to write it all down. Plus, Katie, when life gets too crazy to talk on the phone, here it all is. 24/7
